Some question has come up as to whether or not you can save games without having an "account". Actually, you're just setting up a user name. No personal data, not even an email address is required. technically, yeah, you do need to "set up an account", but that doesnt mean what it might sound like. "account" is just their word for "User name". its free and anonymous. To set up the "account" after you see the screen thats telling you that you won't be able to save, click "next" (lower right). You shoud be seeing large Icons. look to the bottom center... click the text "Launch Guide". Choose "No" to the microsoft experience crap, next screen allows you to setup the "account". basically, you're setting up your character name FOR THIS GAME once you set it up, click "Sign Out". then sign in again. you're good to go. Yes, you can save games no problem! DLL Error FIXED To get those details, i had to reinstall the game. this time i got an error about a missing dll: d3dx9_36.dll No one else has reported the same issue, but i'll post the .dll anyway. If you get that error, just unpack and drop it in the "The Club" folder where "launcher.exe" is. But, if it aint broke, dont fix it! meaning, if you don't get that specific error, you don't need to install this .dll However, it wouldn't hurt to have it around! i'll include it in the main .any future posts. if you get a different error, dll or otherwise, please reply. that way i'll get it fixed for you, and for anyone else who runs into that issue.
