A note about NFO files
nfo files are not native to windows, so it doesn't know what to open it with.

To open, right-click the .nfo file, select "Open With"
and then click "Notepad"
it will then open as a txt.

To permanently associate the .nfo extention with notepad, follow these steps:

1) Click "Start"
2) Click "Control Panel"
3) Click "Folder Options" icon (classic view)
4) Click "File Types" tab
5) Find "NFO" on the list (press "n" to go to that letter)*
6) Highlight the "NFO" selection
7) Click "Change", then scroll down the list until you find notepad (or wordpad)
8) Click "Notepad"
9) Click "OK" and then again

After making this permanent file association, to open an .nfo file just double-click it and it will open in Notepad (instead of System Information!).

*If you get to step 5 and there is no "NFO" entry, MAKE ONE.
Click "New", then type in upper-case___NFO
Click "OK" and then return to step 5
